Gareth & Nicola McCormick started Café Java in August 2009. Gareth is from Northern Ireland and has a back-ground in Chemical Engineering. Nicola is from the South-west of England and is a cardiac nurse. So it was an obvious career move to come to Qinghai and start a Coffee shop–don’t you think!

Cafe Java used to be an office for a property renovation company. The transformation took just over 2 months...
